When I first moved to Dallas a year and a half ago, I was desperately craving some good and affordable all-you-can-eat Korean Barbecue. By good, I meant adequately comparable to the ones in K-town LA and Hawai’i, where my palate was badly spoiled. I dug and dug and found some Korean Barbecue places. However, not a single one offers all-you-can-eat until Omi Korean Grill & Bar came across.

At Omi, you can order plates off the regular menu or you can simply enjoy gluttony like me by doing the all-you-can-eat buffet at 19 bucks. But, what’s the point of going all the way to Omi in Carrollton if you were going to order by plates which can be done at any other Korean restaurants. An $18.99 deal includes all-you-can-eat beef brisket, marinated beef, BBQ Kalbi (short ribs), BBQ pork, spicy chicken, and sliced skinless pork served with Korean-style eggs souffle (steamed eggs), and tofu & soybean puree soup, along with Korean’s infamous and delicious 6-8 refillable appetizers in little dishes. One may say “that’s A LOT of food!”; that’s the beauty of buffets! Eat your money’s worth. In my opinion, BBQ Kalbi and spicy chicken are very well-marinated, tender and definitely stand out the best. Don’t forget to try some Korean soju (liquor) if you  have never had it before!

  1. I’ve been looking for a good Korean BBQ place (I haven’t actually been to one, but I have enough Korean friends that I want to go!), so thanks for this post – it sounds delicious! I hope to go soon.

  2. Thank you so much for this post! I’m on vacation here in Dallas and I’m from Virginia. Up there we have a kbbq place that has all you can eat kbbq for $12 after 10pm every night. Do you know any other places around that have a better deal for all you can eat kbbq?

    1. Dear Kaygee,

Blue House (2540 Old Denton Rd Ste 300) has all you can eat kbbq at 16.99 but mediocre quality meat and poor service whereas at Omi you get more than what you pay for at any hours.
