North Dallas just got a hot new pizza chain in the neighborhood. Blaze Pizza, a California-based brand, opened its first DFW-area location this week right behind Stonebriar Mall in Frisco.
The company makes their pizza fresh with made-from-scratch dough and with healthy, artisanal ingredients.
You can choose from eight different pizzas at the Frisco location, such as the Meat Lover, BBQ Chicken and the Art Lover. You can also build you own pizza and include any and every topping. Either way, the pizzas cost only $7.95. It’s a big portion with six slices! (If you’re counting calories, you can find out the calories in your customized pizzas here via the Nutrition Calendar.) A gluten-free crust is also available for a small extra charge.
The team pops the pizza in the oven for just three minutes, so the wait for this savory pizza is really short.
Guest can also order from six types of side salads for roughy $3 and a smores pie cookie for dessert. Craft beer, wine, lemonade and sodas are available to drink.
Pizza party on May 22!
On Friday, May 22 (that’s TODAY!) Blaze is offering FREE pizza to anyone who follows the restaurant on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter. Enjoy delicious pizza and live music by The Fox and the Bird from 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m.
My meal
I stopped by Blaze Pizza earlier this week to sample a few menu items and to see what the buzz is about. I ordered a BBQ Chicken pizza and built a second pizza customized with my favorite toppings. I can’t wait to go back and try different toppings and the other types of pizza from the regular menu.
See what I got!
Blaze Pizza is located at 3311 Preston Rd., Frisco, TX 75034 and is open daily.
(Disclaimer: My menu sampling was complimentary, and all thoughts are my own.)
