East Hampton Sandwich Company has opened a new location in Southlake, Texas. Just a few blocks from the famously luxurious Southlake Town Square, this is a welcome addition to the growing family of gourmet, small-chain restaurants and stores in the area. The Southlake location is now the sixth installment of this DFW-based specialty sandwich eatery. For those who don’t make it to this side of town often – you’ll find plenty of shopping, grocery stores, and gorgeous mansion homes to keep you occupied for the day.
Compared to their other stores, you’ll find the same bright and airy atmosphere missing only a salty breeze. The menu also remains the same, except for the current seasonal items. Consistency is key when operating multiple locations in a metropolitan area like DFW, but seasonal rotations help keep the consumer up on their tastebuds.
Slurp: Shrimp + Corn Chowder – spiced corn, cured bacon, baby shrimp, cracked pepper
Drink: Black Currant tea fresh on tap, fountains drinks, cocktails, beer, and wine
Chomp: Buffalo Bleu Chicken – southern fried chicken breast, chunky Bleu cheese spread, romaine shred, extra crispy cured bacon, EH house ranch
-House Kettle Chips
–Buffalo Bleu Cheese Dip (it is what it is…spicy delicious)
Feeling coastline fancy?
Savor: Lobster Roll – chilled knuckle and claw meat, light aioli, lemon, and herbs; served on a warm butter toasted roll
-Baked Potato Salad – bacon, cheddar, chives
Seal the meal with a sweet element.
Indulge: Toasted Fluffernutter – creamy peanut butter, marshmallow crème sandwiched between Texas toast
Decided to add bacon (because, why not?)
Served with house-made kettle chips which can make this double as a kid’s meal.
Hampton’s Donut Bag – cinnamon sugar dusted donut rounds with honey
The staff at EHSCo. were extremely interactive with their guests, including the general manager. Employees seemed genuinely concerned regarding the meal and the overall experience throughout the evening, which was refreshing after going through the Taco Bell drive-thru line so many times.
Preppy, delicious, and eager to please. East Hampton Sandwich Company should 100% be your next stop when craving East Coast flair and food.
