I’m consistently in awe of the many food options and creations available in Dallas, and I have to say that Lower Greenville has a feel all its own. A couple of weeks ago, the great folks at The Sundown at Granada introduced a hearty, warm and inviting menu of great eats and libations to boot to keep us warm during the upcoming cold winter months.

The atmosphere was nice and cozy and it was easy to see that everyone in attendance was in for a night of great food. I highly recommend the Basil Martini and the Pomegranate Spice (aka “Liquid Christmas”) drinks to start – I’d go back for those two alone. Each had its own unique kick and got me in the mood for cold weather feasting.

There are some definite stand out dishes to choose from on this new menu. You can never go wrong with a good seafood dish, and the Stone Crab Claws did not disappoint. The meat was tender and juicy and was perfectly complimented by a tasty sauce. The herb crusted salmon was perfectly cooked, and thanks to Chef Jason West I am officially in love with sweet potato gnocchi!

Special thanks to the staff at Sundown at Granada for a wonderful evening of outstanding service and impeccable food!
