Looking for a sweet treat that delights the eyes as much as the other senses? Then head to Dallas Ritz-Carlton Hotel. The posh – palace is home to a spectacular Gingerbread Display now through December 25.
The two-story house, the largest display ever created at The Ritz-Carlton, is an imposing structure and the first thing you see in the luxe lobby. Pastry Chef Zachary Manasan, a veteran of Netflixs Sugar Rush, shared that the 20 foot house was composed of over over 540 pounds of flour, 225 pounds of molasses and 367 pounds of icing, and it took over 500 hours to prepare.
Walking into the house, youre immediately struck by the beautifully curated gift selection beautifully displayed within. The candies for sale are created by the pastry team at The Ritz-Carlton. There are locally selected bath items, and a collection of other gift items. The staff in the Gingerbread House will even book spa visits while youre there.
The most glam gift on display is a beautiful crystal encrusted lion which sells for $10,000.
