Perfect spring day to grab bites + burgers at @blattbeer in @phvillagedallas! An Omaha native, this is their first restaurant in Texas!! They have more than 30 beers on tap, keg wine and a German-inspired menu. They just opened on Wednesday and are treating Dallasites to all day happy hour, all weekend long! Another @budgetbytes remake. This is her Spicy Dragon Noodle recipe, we added shrimp and veggies. I have Udon noodles and Rory opted for rice with his. The Pinterest description pretty much sums it up: simple sauce for this recipe uses only pantry staples and perfectly balances sweet, salty, and spicy. #budgetbytes #DallasFoodNerd isn’t “spicy dragon” a bit redundant?

DFN contributor @nellidfw16 is talking about Afrah Mediterranean Cuisine’s Sampler platter #ontheblog. They have locations in Richardson and Irving. . . . I ordered the Afrah Sampler to taste a bit of a few popular appetizers from the menu. I highly suggest grabbing the sampler since its perfect for sharing with your dining companions “ theres a lot of items to go around! From left to right we had: Falafel (a fried and breaded ball of chickpeas and vegetables), Grape Leaves (rice, onions, tomatoes and parsley tossed in lemon juice and wrapped in a delicate leaf that you can certainly eat), and bowls of Hummus and Baba Ghannouj (with eggplant). The homemade Pita bread is puffy and perfect for pairing with the dips. You can also order the dips separately. Another dip I suggest ordering is the one with yogurt and cucumber; its light and makes a tasty filling for your Pita bread.
