Tips from Dallas Food Nerd

chefs for farmers

For the best food fest experience, check out our tips!

  • Bring a fully charged phone or battery pack because there will be so many unforgettable shots you can snap.
  • Bring a crossbody bag so you can hold your tasting plates, drinks and phone.
  • Arrive early to naviagate parking and walking to the entrance.
  • Don’t be shy to say hi to the chefs, farmers and other guests throughout the event. Give them a social media follow, too!
  • Contrary to instinct, don’t skip the long lines. People are lining up for reason. You just might be skipping the best bite of the festival. Take food from the shorter lines and eat it while you wait in the longer lines.
  • Pace yourself. It’s a marathon, not a sprint. You can also treat it like a meal and save the best for last (dessert!).
  • Tag @chefsforfarmers for a chance to be featured on their IG Stories.
  • Get your tickets NOW — these events typically sells out!
