Taco Ocho is a DFW-based Mexican restaurant inspired by Latin cuisine and classic techniques.
Since 2011, Taco Ocho has been serving the Dallas area with tacos, tortas, nachos and more. The menu features breakfast tacos, taco plates, tostadas, quesadillas, tortas, nachos and starters like chips, salsa, queso and guacamole. Vegan and vegetarian options are in the mix, too!
We stopped by the Flower Mound location for tacos dinner and got a taste of the delicious menu! Take a look below.
Blanco queso comes with green chilies and is served with house made chips tossed with kosher salt and fresh lime juice. The salsa is blended with chargrilled jalapeños, onions, garlic, tomatoes and cilantro.
Two Taco Plate – see above. These entrees come with rice, black beans & chips and salsa. We ordered four tacos in total: brisket, beef fajita, Cabo fish (cod) and smoked chicken elote. The portions are a great size for guests. Don’t miss the Taco Tuesday deal (info below)!
Tostadas are another favorite of mine when it comes to Mexican and Latin cuisine. The menu here offers five different tostadas. Order individually or get three for $11.99. I ordered the Yucatan tostada (shown above), which comes on a crispy corn shell topped with potatoes, poblanos, corn, red onions, black bean spread, sour cream, cotija cheese. Yum!
Take your pick when it comes to margarita flavors! Here is a photo of the house margs but if you’re feeling like something different, there are eight more flavors to select.
