Enjoy happy hour at TJ’s from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday through Friday. The happy hour menu includes the following items at half price: Fish Tacos, Salmon Burgers, select glasses of wine and Ballast Point Beers.

Be a Sommelier for a Day at III Forks, Feb. 4
III Forks in Dallas wants to let you be a Sommelier for a day! The first Wednesday of each month from 5 to 7 p.m., guests can help select featured wines for the coming month. Guests will sample six wines selected by the Wine Director at III Forks and paired with hand-passed hors doeuvres created by Executive Chef Chris Vogeli. The February theme includes Merlot offerings with tasty passed treats. ($20/person)
The Second Floor by Scott Gottlich hosts “Breakfast in Bed” cooking class, Feb. 7
Chefs Scott Gottlich and Andrea Maricich will help guests dish up a little love for a sophisticated Valentines Day breakfast in bed. Additionally, mixologist Seth Brammer will guide guests through the perfect beverages to complete the romantic feast. Throughout the cooking demo, guests will taste their way through decadent dishes, such as Red Velvet Crepes, Hand-squeezed mimosas, Eggs in a (heart) Nest and more. Guests will head home with delicious recipes and a special gift from The Second Floor.

Cotton Patch Cafe to open soon in Grapevine
Downtown Grapevine will welcome Cotton Patch Cafe to the historical area in the coming weeks. We must say, it’s a nice fit for the Texas-themed downtown!
Monthly Sea Breeze cooking classes, Feb. 8 and Feb. 22
Due to its popularity and always sold-out classes, Sea Breeze will now begin offering TWO classes each month.
Classes will traditionally be held on the second and fourth Sunday of each month from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Guests in the classes will learn several seafood recipes, taste those recipes and enjoy wine pairings as well. Reservations can be made by calling Sea Breeze Fish Market & Grill at 972-473-2722. ($40/person)

Healthy + Happy at DFW Airport
See’s Candies hosts open house at its new Irving shop, Feb. 18
See’s Candies, the popular candy maker, is celebrating the grand opening of its new Quantity Discount shop in Irving with a night filled with candy and refreshments! Stop by their open house event to preview our Spring fundraising line from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 18. The shop is located at 7775 N MacArthur Blvd, Suite 110.
Serving as a Fundraising and Business gifts center, the shop will offer discount pricing on select items to qualified customers who are placing large orders or buying in bulk for their fundraising and corporate gifting needs. The shop will also offer Sees full product line of more than 100 varieties of candy for customers to come in and enjoy and guests can create custom boxes of chocolates and candies to keep or wrap up and gift to others at the candy counter.
To round out the grand opening celebrations, a ribbon cutting will take place at 9:30 a.m. on February 20th. The Sees team will also be handing out free lollipops and hats for kids as well as giving away Sees totes to the first 100 customers.
