While ACME Social Club is closed on Thanksgiving Day, Julie Campbell, the star behind their bar, has created some festive liquid concoctions sure to get you primed and ready for spending the day with Aunt Betty and Uncle Him during their Pre-Turkey Day event, Nov. 27.
Her pre-Thanksgiving Day drink menu includes Julies Pecan Pie ($10), Cranberry Sauce Cocktail ($12), and two infusions served on the rocks, Leslies Pumpkin Pie ($9) with roasted pumpkin, nutmeg, cinnamon and brown sugar infused with bourbon and The Connie Mac ($9) made with maple-cinnamon sweet potato infused bourbon. Each Thanksgiving cocktail is available at ACME Social Club through November.
Also on Pre-Turkey Day, ACME Social Club will offer 1/2 priced food starting at 4 pm and DJ Tyrone Smiley will spin tunes starting at 10 pm.
However, just in case you can make it to the fun, Julie’s still sharing her recipes (just like any good family member would do!)
Julies Pecan Pie
2 oz. roasted pecans infused with bourbon
1 dash Fee Brothers Aztec Bitters
½ oz. Sweet Vermouth
Combine all ingredients into a rocks glass with ice. Stir and garnish with an orange twist.
