The entree tasting has a Braised Pork with Paulaner Jus and Roasted Onion Potatoes (the Germans love their potatoes and these are quite tasty) and a Trio of Sausages (Bratwurst, Pork and Veal) with Braised Red Cabbage and Mustard Seed Sauce. While all the entree items were delicious, the traditional bratwurst and beer pairing really got you into the Oktoberfest spirit.
And if you still have room after all that, the desert is a Cinnamon Apple Strudel with Salted Caramel Sauce.
In addition to the Chamberlain’s Brau Haus, this year the SportsHalle (inside the Conference Center) will be replaced with the all new
Draught Haus and will be run by State Fair food king Isaac Rousse. There will also be the
Kaffee and Kuchen Haus run by the Polk A Dot Bakery folks. So dust off your lederhosen, grab your dachshund and make plans to attend Addison’s Oktoberfest!
