You probably know Lisa Garza from her stint on national television where she was a contestant on The Next Food Network’s Star. You might have seen her in the news recently talking about the launch of her new apron line called Couture Caviar. What you might not know about Lisa, is that she is also a Mother and has a real passion for teaching kids to cook and helping educate them about the joys of food. I was thrilled to hear that Lisa will be holding a cooking camp for children.

Time: 10:00 am “ 3:30 pm Ages: 9 yrs. “ 18 yrs.
Includes: Lunch, snacks, beginners cook set, Cook Book, Daily Take home Meals and baked goods
Beginners cook set: mixing bowl, whisk, measuring spoon set, measuring cup set, recipe book, student, Chefs tool box
Curriculum: Kitchen Safety, Knife Skills & Sanitation, Multicultural cuisine, Likes and Differences, Balanced Nutrition, making healthy food choices, Fine Dining Etiquette, Basic Gourmet Recipes
Cost Per Session: $450
Single Day Class: $150.00 per person, 6-10 student minimum
Private Classes: By reservation only, 6-10 student minimum
