Whole Foods invited Dallas Food Nerd on a private tour to check out the new location opening in Highland Village this Wednesday (Sept. 10). I was thrilled to get this invite; I’ve been a huge fan of Whole Foods for many years! I usually stop by the Addison location off DNT and Belt Line since it’s close to my office. The Highland Village store is set up completely reversed compared to the Addison location but still offers the same great groceries, prepared meals and merchandise. The new store also has a second floor and balcony seating — a feature unique only to this Whole Foods location!
If you’re in the Highland Village area this Wednesday, stop by for a day of grand opening activities including the break baking ceremony at 8 a.m., vendor visits and tastings.
Visit the company’s Facebook and Twitter pages for additional updates.

Whole Foods supports local farmers and ranchers.
Mix and match any grains and spices…no matter what amount you want!
At-home cooking: Prep your own sushi sashimi by picking up a pack from the freezer cart.
While shopping the produce section, don’t forget to grab some honey! This one may help with allergies this fall.
The beer wall spans 40 feet!
Which brings me to my next pic…the bar!
Fridge with organic dog and cat food
I can almost smell the fresh-baked bread!
Can’t wait to visit the cheese station once the store opens. I love cheese…and wine…and chocolate for that matter.
Pizza, anyone? You can definitely count me in.
The coffee and espresso bar
Whole Foods sent us home with a goodie bag full of tasty products!!
