Most people think of a margarita as a summer drink. However, it’s margarita’s featured player, tequila, that is under-utilized in the world of cocktails. However, after a complimentary evening of learning how to create some fall-flavored drinks with Milagro Tequila, I learned that tequila can also epitomize the flavor of fall.
And considering my name is Autumn, you should take my word for it…
Diablo De Atoño
1 1/2 Parts Milagro Silver Tequila
1/4 Part Leopolds Cranberry Liqueur
3/4 Part Fresh Lime Juice
1/2 Part Simple Syrup
Combine Tequila, Cranberry Liqueur, Lime Juice, And Simple Syrup; Shake/Stir To Blend As Much As Possible.
Add Ginger Ale Just Prior to Serving.
Float Thin Lime Wheels on Top.
Serve In A Coupe Glass.
Aperitivo Estelar
1 1/2 Parts Milagro Tequila Reposado
1/4 Part Lillet Rose
1/4 Part Fresh Lime Juice
1/2 Part Agave Nectar
3 Star Of Anise
Splash Pellegrino Pompelmo Soda
1 1/2 Part Ginger Ale
Muddle Star of Anise.
Add Rest Of Ingredients Except Soda.
Shake And Strain Into Highball Glass With Ice.
Top With Soda. Garnish with Ruby Grapefruit Slice and Star Of Anise.
Steal, Beg Or Borrow
2 Parts Milagro Tequila Añejo
2 Barspoons Pumpkin Syrup
1 Barspoon Pedro Ximenez Sherry
1/2 Dropper Temperance Cacao
Sagrada Bitters
Combine All Ingredients In Mixing Glass With Ice and Stir.
Strain To Old Fashioned Glass Over Ice and Garnish With Lemon Zest and Peel.
