Many Dallas foodies have been looking forward to this weekend since last March – it’s time for Savor Dallas! Co-founded by Vicki Briley-White and Jim White, Savor Dallas will celebrate its seventh year this weekend and showcases the best of the citys arts, chefs, restaurants, foods, sprits and wines.
The inaugural event in 2005 included 21 restaurants and over 100 wines and spirits. This weekend you can experience over 60 Dallas eateries and more than 400 premium wines, spirits and imported beers at the International Grand Tasting on Saturday at the Sheraton Dallas Hotel.
For those new to Savor Dallas and attending the International Grand Tasting, youre in for a treat! Your ticket entitles you to all the food and beverage sampling youd like. The best method is to pace yourself throughout the night and try as many of the restaurants and beverages you can. And with a list like this, youll want to make it to every booth!
There are still tickets available for both the Friday and Saturday events. Tickets range from $35 for the Wine Stroll in the Arts District on Friday, to $125 for the VIP Reserve Tasting event Saturday evening. See the full schedule of events here.
Follow all the fun this weekend on Savor Dallass Facebook and Twitter page. Ill be at the Reserve Tasting and Grand Tasting on Saturday so follow my tweets or come find me and say hello!
