One of the hottest new concepts in Las Colinas is Table and Tavern, a locally inspired restaurant in an upscale yet relaxed atmosphere. Table and Tavern sits in the former Sfuzzi space and celebrated its grand opening earlier this month. With a fun ambiance and great food and drinks, this is a restaurant you need to check out!
Table and Tavern is set up like a restaurant-bar combo and features a menu with a nice blend of items including: gourmet wood fire pizza, bone-in rib eye, steaks, burgers, entree salads, lots of fresh seafood, pastas and more. You’ll see a lot of unique appetizers as well, like the crispy fried chicken skin, tuna tartare with ahi tuna and barbecue pork wings. Take a look at the delicious appetizer sampler Chef Leilani Smith put together for me! The food is from a mix of the dining room and bar menus.
Additionally, the restaurant offers boutique wine, craft beer and made-from-scratch cocktails using local spirits.
And here comes more food! (Note: The plates are sample sizes made specially for me to taste, and the actual dishes are larger.)
The “Tavern” area has the bar and live local music while the “Table” is the elegant dining side. Outside you’ll find an impressive outdoor patio that has extra seating at the bar, around the fire pit and near the restaurant’s second live music stage. There’s even an additional patio that’s covered and includes fans and heaters. Tavern and Table offers three private event rooms, and they’re ready to host any type of party from family functions, corporate events and other social gatherings.
The GM Tyler Brown also went over the happy hour specials for me. There’s something going on almost every night of the week including reverse happy hour and bottomless wine. See the specials here.
Visit their Facebook and Twitter pages to stay in the loop about upcoming events and restaurant specials.
Table and Tavern is located at 525 Meadow Creek Dr., Irving, Texas 75039.
(Disclaimer: I was provided with a complimentary meal, and all thoughts are my own. You can bet I’ll be back for that reverse happy hour soon!)
