Hunger-based food organization, Tango Charities, is gearing up to break a Guinness World Record this Saturday, Sept. 17, to raise awareness for childhood hunger. September is Hunger Action Month, and Tango Charities plans to break the record for the Longest Line of Sandwiches.
Around 20,000 meals will go to kids in need around North Texas!

Why is Tango Charities trying to break a record?
- 20% of kids in Texas don’t know where their next meal is coming from.
- 11% of seniors in Texas go to bed hungry every night.
- 11% of households in North Texas face food insecurity.
Admission
Volunteers are still needed to make this great event happen! Tickets are $25/each to participate, which includes entry for the record attempt, supplies for the attempt, a t-shirt, and a concert by PARMALEE. Groups of 4 are $80 total. All ages are allowed to join this high-energy event.
