The latest concept to join the Austin Ranch community is Shakertins Bar, an upscale but wallet-friendly bar that boasts a sophisticated lounge setting. Guests can relax in the oversized comfy booths, play pool and shuffleboard inside or join the patio party with giant Jenga and lots of outdoor seating.
The party is always poppin’ here during the week with live music and more special events (stay updated by liking their Facebook page.) Shakertins will be your new happy hour and weekend destination in no time! Read on to find out why.
Beverages
Drinks here aren’t ordinary. The bar puts a spin on traditional cocktails, and their mixologists have whipped up new beverages to really wow guests. Shakertins has begun to prove themselves to Dallasites, and we’re JUST getting started!
Enjoy $1 off all cocktails, beer and wine Monday-Friday during happy hour (4 p.m-7 p.m.)
Kick back with a true Old Fashioned and several other Old School cocktails, or choose from a handful of New School drinks such as the sweet Basil Gimlet (Kettle One Vodka, basil, lime juice) shown below. All cocktails are made with fresh ingredients and homemade juices.
Appetizers
Guests will find an array of gourmet appetizers on the menu, all of which are completely shareable.
You may thinking…bread is bread, right? Wrong. This bar doesn’t order frozen bread from manufactures like you’re used to seeing at other restaurants. They purchase their bread from a local bakery and roll it out fresh every day. The savory breadsticks below are a great example of this and come with a creamy housemade pesto hummus.
If you see me at Shakertins, I will order this appetizer every.single.time. This pile of goodness is the Spinach Artichoke Pull Bread. You don’t see a dipping cup because it isn’t needed. Both the spinach and artichoke are melted onto the bread, so you have both flavors in every bite. It’s creative and perfect in every way. (Props to the chef for this unique app.)
These aren’t your traditional deviled eggs. This batch comes topped with a slice of pickled pepper, a piece of spicy Italian sausage and kale…packed with flavor.
Entrees
More creative bites make their debut on the menu including seven different flatbreads. Take for example the Pearsciutto and the Pear Burger below. Topped with prosciutto, pear slices, caramelized onions, this crunchy flatbread is drizzled with honey. What’s even sweeter is that all guests get half-priced flatbreads during happy hour!
Continuing with the flavorful pear theme, you can find sauteed pears on this pear along with melted Brie and crispy prosciutto, as well as a side of seasoned fries.

Brunch
Don’t miss out on weekend brunch at the bar. Just check out these tasty bites and sips!
This is one meal party I need to come back for soon. #butfirstbrunch
